Back to School Tomorrow :(

Here it is, the most dreaded day of the year has finally arrived. I attend St. Thomas More High School. We begin and end the year early, so it has its ups and downs! I just want to ask everyone who reads this post, to pray for me that use the talents that God has given me, to do my very best throughout this year!

This prayer was taken from Catholic Youth Online. Please feel free to join in with me! :)

O Lord God and Heavenly Father, bestow upon us the gift of Your Holy Spirit, that enlightened by Him, we may understand aright and may keep in mind all that we may learn, and may both begin and end all things well, to Thy glory, and in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Thank you! :)

  1. John, I laughed at the sad face, I use to feel the same way! Good luck at school! You are in my prayers.

  2. John,
You will probably read this after your first day back~hope it was a good one. I have joined you in the prayer you posted.
May our Lord bless you as you begin this new school year.

  3. John,

What grade are you in? I hope you have a wonderful school year and learn much. I remember my school days. Mamma mia, midterms and "all-nighters"... May St Thomas Aquinas and St Teresa Benedicta of the Cross intercede for you now and always.

  4. Thank you Sister! I will be a sophomore this year!

  5. May your year be filled with healthy challenges, joyful moments, spiritual growth, fellowship and adventure, and a true love of learning for the glory of God ! Have a wonderful Sophomore year John! You will be in our prayers!

  6. I had a great first day! I got to see a lot of my old friends and make a lot of new ones as well! ;) My classes this year are all different from last, but I love them all, (especially beginners guitar! ). Thank you for writing these nice comments to me! I will be posting everything that I just wrote to you, on my blog within the next few days! :)

Thanks again and God Bless! ;)

  7. I'm glad to hear that it went well on your first day. High School can be a wonderful time, and you could be a great witness of Christian virtue to your fellow students.

We are praying for you in our community. Please remember us in your prayers, too. God bless you!
